Drillimation Studios (株式会社ドリメーションスタジオ Kabushiki-gaisha Dorimēshon Sutajio) is a Japanese-American multimedia entertainment company with studios headquartered in Tokyo, Japan and Erie, Pennsylvania in the United States. The name is a portmanteau of the words drill and animation. Originally an animation studio, the company is currently beginning to expand into the video game industry.

The company has only one member that writes everything under the perspective of the original character Susumu Takajima. The character himself was born in Tokyo, Japan, and moved to Erie, Pennsylvania at the age of five. Many people call him "Driller" because of his addiction to Namco's Mr. Driller series. In addition, he also likes Kadokawa Shoten's Lucky Star series and Cinemassacre's Angry Video Game Nerd series.

At the beginning of Driller's freshman year at high school in August of 2014 at the age of 14, Takajima began working on The Drillimation Series. Inexperienced, he began using fan-made sprites on the internet for characters. However, he had a bit of difficulty understanding copyright for fan-made works, he continued using them in more episodes. Driller eventually removed content when requested from the rights holder.

In September of 2015, Drillimation announced they were relaunching, removing all copyright infringing material and making content that was completely original.

The logo is designed in a mid 1990's style. According to comments, it describes how it takes him back to his early years drawing on his grandmother's Compaq Presario All-in-One computer running Windows 3.1. The logo design ensures to keep the company's products family-friendly.
